Up to 100 mm of Lift: Raise the screen as much as 100 mm over stock to push wind, buffeting, and noise up and over your helmet on the highway.
Tool-Free Adjustment: Knurled aluminum thumb nuts let you drop the screen for technical riding or raise it for long highway days by hand, in seconds, with no tools.
Rigid Riser Design: Risers are CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, not stamped metal, so the screen holds its position without flex at highway speeds.
Pressure-Equalizing Airflow: As you raise the screen, a built-in gap lets air pass up behind it to equalize pressure and create a calm pocket of dead air, instead of the vacuum that causes buffeting.
Serviceable Hold: Vibra-Tite VC-3 Threadmate locks the thumb nuts under vibration but backs out clean for readjustment, with no permanent thread locker.
Fitment: 2025+ Yamaha Ténéré 700, including World Raid and Rally variants
Windscreen: Impact-resistant polycarbonate, custom-designed for the 2025+ T7
Risers: CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum
Adjustment Range: 10 mm to 100 mm over stock height
Finish: Bead-blasted and black anodized
Hardware: Knurled aluminum thumb nuts and Viton/FKM washers included
Thread Retention: Reusable Vibra-Tite VC-3 Threadmate

The 2025+ Yamaha Ténéré 700 is one of the best middleweight adventure bikes on the market, but the stock windscreen leaves most riders dealing with buffeting, bug strikes, and wind noise the moment they spend real time on the highway. Most aftermarket screens fix one height and call it done. Fine for the freeway, wrong for everywhere else.
The AltRider Adjustable Windscreen gives you up to 100 mm of lift over stock, adjustable by hand in seconds, with no penalty in rigidity and no tools required. The complete system ships with our own polycarbonate windscreen, tooled and designed specifically for the 2025+ T7, paired with a fully adjustable riser mechanism that redirects airflow over your helmet at any height.
The windscreen itself is ours. We tooled up and designed it specifically for the 2025+ Ténéré 700, formed from impact-resistant polycarbonate with geometry, height, and curvature worked out to play with the bike's stock fairing and the riser system as a single integrated solution. Most adjustable-windscreen products are just riser brackets that lift whatever screen you already own. We built the whole package because that's the only way to get the airflow right.
When you raise the screen, a deliberate gap opens up underneath it. That gap lets air pass up behind the screen to equalize pressure across the top edge, settling the air into a calm dead-air pocket instead of the low-pressure vacuum that pulls in turbulence from the sides and below. The result is less buffeting and less noise at the helmet, even at full height.
The risers are CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, so they hold the screen rock solid at highway speeds. The Viton/FKM washer set eliminates the vibration and rattle that plague cheaper systems, and because the elastomer is UV, acid, oil, and water stable, it holds up across climates and seasons. Drop the screen down for technical riding, raise it 100 mm for a long highway day, and you'll never need to open a toolkit to do it.
Where most builders use permanent thread lockers, we use Vibra-Tite VC-3 Threadmate, a thermoplastic elastomer resin that holds the thumb nuts secure under vibration while leaving them fully serviceable. Back the nuts out, readjust, and re-torque without losing hold. If a thumb nut ever walks off on the trail, we keep replacement sets in stock.
