A punctured radiator far from the nearest town is a trip-ending problem. The AltRider Radiator Guard protects the radiator from rocks, sticks, and debris while keeping the cooling system working as intended.
AltRider was the first to louver radiator guards, instead of the plain hole-cut pattern most guards on the market still use. Each louver is sized to pass adequate airflow while stopping dangerous debris, striking the balance between airflow and protection a flat hole pattern can't match. The guard sits at least 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) from the radiator face for extra airflow, and the louvered shape stiffens the guard itself so impacts don't flex it into the fins. Extra clearance also keeps the guard clear of your front tire, a common fitment issue with radiator guards.
The guard replaces the entire OEM radiator shroud assembly using your existing hardware. It is also compatible with the AltRider High Fender Kit.
