It's time to gear up for the 4th annual TRIKE FOR BEERS!
All proceeds will go towards the Biker Down Fund. Suggested donation per racer: $5.00
We will also have a donation bucket for anyone who wants to give more to the cause. goal is to raise an average months rent for our bikers in need.
Instructions on RSVPing: Those that are riding and not racing will be our flaggers, meaning, you and your bike will be along the race route flagging people down the route. Those drunk tricyclists get lost and sometimes cheat.
So when you RSVP please note if you are an escort or a racer. You can RSVP here.
We meet at Targy’s Tavern on the top of Queen Anne at 1pm. The race starts at 2:30pm. The race will start at 7th and Blaine.
Thanks all, and see ya on the hill! http://trikeforbeers.com
About the race:
Our former fearless leader will be making the trek from N.C. to race her trusty, rusty trike. This year She (Elise) will be triking and drinking with y'all, So get your trike on and dawn a feather in your cap. If ya don't want to race/ride we could always use route peeps, flaggers and the bunch. See ya all at the starting line
Rules must fit in 36"x36" chalk outlined box, Must have 3 wheels . No motors. Use your creativity and see ya at the Races . Surprises are in store this year, as always!
The Seattle Trike Race was founded on little more than a dream to recreate the revenge of the nerds beer and trike race.
“It brings a tear to my eye - to think of all those yuppies standing on their manicured grounds watching a bunch of grown up juveniles race by.” - El Capitan - Trike for Beers Founder, Creator
So here we go again. The Spring 2011 Seattle Trike Race is on! May 15th, 1pm prefunk, 2:30 race.
