Hi,

I am planning to ride from Bellingham, WA / Vancouver, BC starting Monday the 6th of June, riding up through Canada on the Kassier Hwy into Alaska. 

My plans are to ride during daylight hours and to canp and the occasional hotel/lodge when conveinant.

I know that this is about a 50hour ride in a car and have driven this highway many times in the past with a four wheel vehicle. I believe 4-5 days will be reasonable to get up to Anchorage.

I am riding a new F800GS that I am picking up on the 31st of May in Bellingham, then I will be riding it to eastern Washington to get 600miles on the new engine, then back to Bellingham for a service then I am heading to Vancouver Island for some touring before starting on the 6th of June.

I am hoping for a good paced and budget trip to alaska.
