Join AltRider at the gorgeous Olympic National Forest in Washington State for the Hoh Rainforest Ride August 22-24, 2014.
This exciting 3-day event kicks off from the AltRider office in Seattle to the Olympic peninsula via ferry, catching the beautiful Skyline as we go off onto our adventure. We’ll be riding to our campsite with a delicious dinner prepared by Mary from the Skokomish Tribe. The campfire will be burning bright and we’ll crack open a keg of Manny’s with anticipation for the riding adventure coming the next day.
Saturday - After a hardy breakfast, take off on an awesome GPS-led adventure, catching the beautiful views along the route surrounded by staggering evergreens. Stop midday for a delicious lunch, followed by a full afternoon riding through even more epic terrain.
Sunday - Wake up to another delicious breakfast at the campsite and get ready for another half day route for the way home. For those who need a little more dirt therapy before heading home, this route offers some of the best terrain the Olympic Peninsula has to offer, while still taking you back to Highway 101.
The ride includes:
- 2 nights of camping under the stars
- Epic gps led routes for every skill level in the Olympic National Forest, special permission granted to AltRider for this event
